Hotel City - Tasch

Lack of pillows but convenient location and decent breakfast make up for it.

The room was neat, brand-new, it had an electronic key card, coffee and tea making facilities, and television.

Loved the spacious room, but the receptionist's rudeness was a real letdown.

Convenient stay with charming views

The location was fantastic, right across from the train station. Our room had a lovely view of the mountains, made mornings bright and cheerful. The staff's warmth added to the welcome ambiance, and we found the accessible supermarkets nearby very handy.

The luggage storage after checkout was a bit concerning, as it was just left in a hallway with no secure area. We expected a more dedicated storage solution given the hotel's reputation.

Think that this relaxing and pleasant hotel is beyond compare, truly enjoyed it. Make sure you stay in the superior queen room with good beds. They have an electric kettle, a sofa bed, and central heating. The property has a comfortable location, close to which is closest town to Zermatt, Zermatt, right across the train station, and restaurant.

It's a convenient place with amicable staff and brand-new rooms. They provide butter, eggs and cheese, that is outstanding!

Our room had fine views of the mountains, but the mattress felt uncomfortable due to its frame. The hotel offers various hiking options on site.

we had to check out early to for our days plans, we tried to leave at 6.15 only to find we were locked in. we eventually found a way out thru the staff areas in the basement in the dark. maybe we were supposed to know were were locked in for the nite ?!!? we consider this to be a MAJOR ISSUE. what if a fire broke out how would one escape ? there were no fire exits, it was a building with a LOT of wood. we could NOT recommend this hotel to anyone on this basis. if it had fire exits we would

Excellent value for money - right next to Taesch station and just a ten minute train ride to Zermatt.

The location is convenient, as it's directly across from the Tasch railway station, making transportation to Zermatt easy.

Although the room was comfortable, the Wi-Fi connection was unreliable at times, a bit frustrating for planning day trips.

I liked the hotel! Staff was really friendly and amicable and property is fairly clean and charming! The atmosphere created was quiet. My room included TV set with satellite channels, central heating and tea/coffee making equipment. The breakfast was very good and absolutely fantastic, and included butter, eggs and cheese. The hotel was in a particularly good and perfect location not far from train station direct to Zermatt and the Matterhorn train terminal, grocery stores and restaurants and Zermatt...

Cooking: we opted for their half board solution and it was really a good choice. And the room: very wide (we were in the dependance). Railway station right in the front.

I enjoyed my stay, especially the spacious and clean room, and the excellent breakfast buffet. I found the luggage storage option lacking in security, as it was left in an open area. The duvets were too warm.

Excellent value for money in Zelmat area. Easy access to Taesh station. The female manager accepted free parking after checkout until evening on the same day of checkout. Breakfast was best in this tour. Wifi was accessible in the corner of Balcony of room 30, fortunately.

No impression to facility, just mall room, but acceptable for Zelmat travelers, who go out in the early morning, and return late night. The room was in little bit far from main facility.
